I have always had a fondness for the work of Kathie Olivas, and this Christmas, received a print of hers that I had been lusting after for several years now. Behold!



I am in the process of tracking down a proper 11x17 frame that does it justice and can't wait to put it on my walls!

Another new edition to my walls is a collage of butterflies, framed and mounted on old world parchment. Something about capturing that kind of beauty and displaying it in that way is both lovely and sad to me. I think that juxtaposition, however, would be the perfect summation of 90% of my interests, so it works swimmingly. Here is one of the little creatures:
